My story
I qualified as a counsellor in 2005 and have had the privilege of working with people from different walks of life since then. We all come with unique stories, and my intention is to draw on my professional skills to walk alongside you as you navigate the challenges you face.
Both my professional and personal life has afforded me experience in supporting those facing the myriad of issues life may present — such as coming to terms with disability or bereavement, supporting those struggling with anxiety and depression, issues of self-esteem or relationship problems. You do not have to face such issues alone.
My approach
I will listen. I will be genuine. I will not judge. If you need that space, contact me.
I use a client-centred, integrative approach, which means I will tailor our work together according to the issues you present. I am personable and I will endeavour to foster a relationship of mutual respect and trust as we work towards your goals.
Our work is collaborative and paced with care, drawing on a mix of approaches in a way that fits your needs and lived experience.
"To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment."
— Ralph Waldo Emerson
